Ohhh, I don’t know if you’ll appreciate what I’m going to say now… But it has to be said, and I WISH I knew how to contact that station to make my comments heard… I LOVE Ch4, considering it IS the best English radio station in the UAE. But that DAWN guy who DJ’s the ‘Slow Jams’ every night, needs to go. Seriously, it just so happens that I ALWAYS end up catching his show on my way home at night, and the guy pays no attention to callers (I often feel that he’s a computer response and not a person), he doesn’t play the sms requests with dedications, though plays a lot of other songs that aren’t requested by a caller, and he really doesn’t know a thing about the art of conversation. Night after night I listen to him make say the same thing, no matter what the caller says… “Would you like to (long pause) dedicate that?” People have replied with things like, “Yeah, it’s my birthday! So I’m going to dedicate it to me!” And he’ll always answer, “We’ll do that then.” It’s insane. Doesn’t even wish the girl a happy birthday! People dedicate songs to him, and he doesn’t acknowledge it, at all… “We’ll do that then.”

The guy drives me NUTS. I’m sorry if this isn’t what you want in here, or the right place even, and don’t mind if you delete this. But it’s been bugging me for more than a month now, and I’ve even considered calling the station about it, but don’t know if they have an office number of just the ones they give on air… I mean, don’t they listen to his show?

Any by the way… Mo isn’t at all what I thought he’d look like. I pictured him a little chubbier!

Hey! I don't know how you did it, Don (who told me the correct spelling of his name) sent me an email the other day and explained the technical aspect of pre-recorded shows. Also promised it shouldn't stay that way cause they've hired a new Dj and he wouldn't have to take so many nights off..

So thanks. Cause my comments were heard and taken in with graciousness.
